Day 1

Begin the trip with pandas, ancient town scenery, and a scenic drive toward Jiuzhaigou

📍 Chengdu, Panda Paradise, Songpan Ancient Town, Jiuzhaigou

Depart from Chengdu early in the morning. The tour first visits Panda Paradise, where guests can see giant pandas and enjoy a relaxing nature-focused stop before heading toward Northern Sichuan.

Afterward, continue to Songpan Ancient Town. Guests can enjoy a short visit to the ancient town area, with opportunities to see its old city atmosphere and local cultural surroundings. The journey then continues toward Jiuzhaigou, arriving in the evening for hotel check-in and rest.

Day 2

Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou’s lakes, waterfalls, forests, and colorful valleys

📍 Jiuzhaigou

After breakfast, enter Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area for a full day of sightseeing. Jiuzhaigou is known for its clear blue and green lakes, waterfalls, layered forests, snow mountain backdrops, and dreamlike valley scenery.

Guests can explore the scenic area at their own pace using the internal sightseeing bus system. Lunch is not included inside the scenic area. In the evening, return to the hotel. The PDF also mentions optional activities such as a Tibetan-style hotpot or local evening experience, depending on the package arrangement and guest preference.

Day 3

Visit Huanglong’s colorful pools and end the journey with Dujiangyan before returning to Chengdu

📍 Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong Scenic Area, Dujiangyan, Chengdu

Depart from Jiuzhaigou after breakfast and travel to Huanglong Scenic Area. Huanglong is famous for its colorful travertine pools, terraced mineral formations, snow mountain scenery, valleys, and forests. Guests may choose to walk or use available cable car options depending on their physical condition and scenic-area arrangements.

After visiting Huanglong, continue toward Dujiangyan. Depending on timing, guests may visit or view the Dujiangyan area before returning to Chengdu. The trip ends upon arrival in Chengdu, usually in the afternoon or evening depending on traffic, weather, and road conditions.

    Transportation is arranged according to the number of travelers. Reference vehicles include 5-seat SUVs, 7-seat business vehicles, and 9-seat business vehicles. The final vehicle type is subject to actual arrangement.

    The package includes travel accident insurance, described in the PDF as up to CNY 800,000 coverage per person.

    The trip is operated with a driver service. The driver is not a professional tour guide and does not provide full guided commentary.
  5. Chengdu pickup service
    Pickup is included within Chengdu’s Third Ring Road area. The driver usually contacts guests the evening before departure.

  1. Transportation before joining the tour
    Major transportation costs to and from Chengdu are not included, such as flights, trains, or other transport from the traveler’s departure city.

    Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are generally not included unless clearly stated. The PDF mentions that one breakfast and one featured meal may be provided as complimentary items, but other meals are at the traveler’s own expense.
  3. Single room supplement

What to expect

Travelers can expect a scenic, comfortable, and efficient 3-day route covering some of Sichuan’s most famous highlights. This trip is ideal for guests who want to see Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong within a short time while also adding Panda Paradise, Songpan Ancient Town, and Dujiangyan.

The scenery is the main highlight. Jiuzhaigou offers colorful lakes, waterfalls, forests, and mountain reflections, while Huanglong features terraced calcium pools and highland scenery. Panda Paradise adds a relaxed animal experience, and Dujiangyan brings a cultural and historical element.

Guests should also expect long driving times, early departures, mountain roads, changing weather, and possible altitude-related discomfort around Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. The itinerary may be adjusted due to traffic control, weather, scenic-area rules, road conditions, or other practical factors.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup is included within Chengdu’s Third Ring Road area. The driver usually contacts guests between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on the day before departure. Guests should keep their phone available.

Return transport notice
Because the return time may vary due to traffic, weather, road conditions, and scenic-area timing, guests are advised not to book tight same-day flights or train departures after the tour.


Vehicle arrangement

Luggage notice

Pregnant travelers and infants under 2 years old are not accepted according to the PDF. Older travelers may need to sign safety documents or provide health proof depending on age.

Shopping notice

Cancellation policy

The PDF lists staged cancellation rules: cancellation 7 days or more before departure is free; cancellation 3–7 days before departure may receive a 50% refund; cancellation 1–3 days before departure may receive a 70% refund; cancellation within 24 hours of departure does not receive a refund. During major holidays, different cancellation rules may apply.


Force majeure

Weather, natural disasters, road closures, traffic jams, scenic-area restrictions, ticket limitations, queues, or other uncontrollable factors may cause delays, route changes, missed attractions, or early termination. Any additional costs caused by these situations are generally borne by travelers, while unused costs may be refunded according to actual conditions.
